JULY 21st-- COME CAMPING WITH HIGHWAY WEST at the Wheel-In Campground in Shelocta, PA. 8:00PM - 11:00PM
$ 3.00 admission per person for non-campers.
For the 4th year in a row Highway West will be playing for the fine folks at Wheel-In Campground.
And you don't have to be a camper to see Highway West (although it's more fun if you are).
The show is open to the public and admission will be $ 3 per person for non-campers!
Mark your calendar & plan to be there. It's going to be intentse!

Continuing the trend, for the fifth year in a row your Highway West has been asked to play the
Business EXPO at the Indiana Mall! We can't wait to see you all there!
We'll once again be the the last act of the day, going on at around 3:45PM.
Come out early & enjoy some of the other GREAT talent that will be on display.
It seems like every year our crowds get better and better for this show. We can't thank
all of you enough for all the support & love. You guys really make this all so much fun
for us and we're glad to share the time and fun with each and every one of you.
As always, thanks go to Anthony Frazier for giving Highway West the opportunity to play this show & for Mike Feight running the sound for us (and everyone else). Not having to worry about that aspect allows us to focus on the crowd even more. And to Sherry Renosky, our friend and advocate, a sincere thanks. We wouldn't be here without you and your support.

APRIL 14th -- Highway West at Dingbats Bar and Grill in the Indiana Mall -- 9:00PM - 12:00AM
For the first time Highway West will be playing Dingbats in the Indiana Mall.
We'd love your support while you enjoy some great food and drinks. Come forget about all
the money you just paid to Uncle Sam -- or come celebrate all the money you just got back!
We plan to have a party and YOU'RE INVITED!!! There's a $ 5.00 cover charge for this show.
Thank you to all the people who came out to support us at Dingbats. The management was very impressed by how many of you showed up to see us. Because of your support, they've already expressed interest in bringing us back for another show. We couldn't have done it without you and we thank each and every one of you from the bottom of our hearts.

A hearty congratulations to the graduates and a big thank you for allowing us to entertain you for the evening. It was nice to see the smiling faces & tapping toes in the audience. We wish you all the best in the years to come!

JULY 4th-- HIGHWAY WEST AT INDIANA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS (Leading up to the Fireworks) 7:00PM - 9:30PM
Highway West will be entertaining the masses at the Lions Club 4th of July festivites this year.
We'll be kicking off at 7:00PM and playing right up to the start of the fireworks. You know you
were going to see the fireworks anyway, so why not come out early & party with Highway West?
We'd love to see all your smiling faces as we celebrate the 4th with you!!
It was a real kick getting to play the main stage at the fairgrounds in front of that many people. A sincere thank you to all of you who came out that night to share the experience with us. And to our beloved bass player Drew, there's another one you can check of your list, buddy!

JAN 22nd -- EXPO 2011 at the Indiana Mall Center Court -- 3:30PM - 4:15PM
For the fourth year in a row your Highway West has been asked to play the Business EXPO
at the Indiana Mall! This year they've made us the "headliner" (meaning we're the last act of
the day). There will be A LOT of great local talent there, so plan on coming out and enjoying
some great music. We look forward to seeing all your smiling faces as we kick off
another year. Come support your Highway West and have a BLAST with us!!!
Thanks to everyone who helped make this a great time for us. You guys who come out
to the shows, dancing, clapping, hootin' and hollerin' really do make it a blast to do what we do.
We really can't say, "Thank You," enough!
We'd also like to thank Anthony Frazier for his continued support of Highway West & for the work that Mike Feight of Feight Audio does in running the sound for every act that takes the stage. It's a rough gig, but Mike really does make it look easy. And last but not least, thanks again to Sherry Renosky. The boys of Highway West are big fans of her's!

Well THAT was a hot show! Thanks to everyone who hung out with us despite the heat & for doing so much to accommodate us (like lending us the fans that made the heat on stage bearable). We always have a great time playing for you folks & you always make us feel so welcome. So even though the show is over, give yourselves a hand! And if anyone looks at you funny, you can tell 'em Highway West told you to do it! Can't wait to see you all again!

AUG. 13th -- HIGHWAY WEST at the Silver Canoe Campground in Rural Valley, PA.
We played one of our very first gigs for these folks back when they were still running Milton Loop.
Well they're doing their finest Jeffersons impersonation & "Movin' on up!" and we're glad to be
a part of it this year. We'll be starting the fun at around 8PM. Can't wait to see
the Thompson family again & hope you're all there with us!
It's hard not to "rock" when you're playing on gravel! Thanks SO MUCH for the hospitality & the chance to meet some new friends. It took a long time for us to get back around to your campground, but we're so glad we did. Looking forward to another chance in the future. And by the way, your laundry room is lovely....

Another great time in Luckenbach Penna! Thanks so much to all the other musicians who played & for the crowd who makes it all worthwhile. We really enjoyed the chance to play for you & cut loose a little bit. Special thanks to Brenda Stiteler for the excellent photographs. We're looking forward to doing it all again in a month. Hey Elderton, we're comin' back again!! Highway West will be playing this event for the third
year in a row.Come on out to the community festival, grab yourself something to eat,
play a game or two, and listen to your Highway West!
The show is FREE, so we hope to see you all there supporting the Fire Dept.,
the Elderton community, and of course, Dan Palmo & Martin Schaeffer!

JAN 9th -- Elderton State Bank Christmas Party -- Rustic Lodge in Indiana, PA
A sincere thank you to all the folks at the Elderton State Bank for including us in their festivities. What a great event it turned out to be. We had a great time with you all, watching you sing, dance, and clap along. We hope you had as much fun as we did entertaining you!
A special "Thank You" to the staff of the Rustic Lodge. You folks were so helpful and accommodating from the time we walked in the door until we finally left. It was a pleasure to work with people like you!

The crowd's enthusiasm made the show a very memorable experience. Thanks for your support & we

MAY 14th-- HIGHWAY WEST will be playing the 2010 Relay For Life at the White Township Recreational Park in Indiana, PA. Play time -- 9:30 PM. Public Welcome!
We were asked to help support the American Cancer Society by being a part of this annual event & couldn't say no.
This will be a Rain or Shine outdoor show (for the record, we'd prefer "Shine") & we'll be on stage for about an hour on Friday evening, May 14th. The event is open to the public, so please plan to come on out & support the American Cancer Society, support those walking for the cause, and support your Highway West!
We were proud to be part of an event for such a worthwhile cause. Everyone involved was wonderful to us!
Special thanks to Anthony Frazier for including us in the event & to Mike Feight for all the work he does
with very little recognition. Mike, we couldn't do it without someone like you running the show.
And of course, thank you to all the organizers, sponsors, and walkers who give of themselves

We feel right at home as soon as we pull in. Thanks to all the clappers, the singers, and the dancers
who helped us get through a hot, humid, and sweaty show. You guys make it all worthwhile!
JULY 31st-- PRIVATE PARTY at The Towne Hall in Elderton, PA.
A big congratulations to Paula & Kevin for 25 years of marriage. Thanks for letting us be
a part of your celebration. The Towne Hall was a great place to hold the event & everyone involved was
so helpful. We hope everyone had as good a time as we did and we hope you all feel Wonderful Tonight!!

Man, what a great day at Luckenbach, Penna! We had a BLAST playing for (and with) you guys!
Everyone was REALLY wonderful from the crowd to the other musicians. Just a fantastic day all around!

Highway West has been asked to kick off this fundraiser for local Christian Broadcasting. If you're
a fan of country and gospel music & want to help a worthy cause, mark your calendar and plan to attend!

APRIL 4th -- HERO's COMEDY and BAND NIGHT Fundraiser
at the Spring Church Sportsmen's Club.
Come out and support a worthwhile cause, the HERO organization, while enjoying a night of
comedy and live music. Two comedians are scheduled to appear with Highway West bringing up the rear. Check out the headlining comedian, Shaun
Blackham, at his website www.shaunblackham.com. Doors open at 7:30PM,
show starts at 8:00. Highway West goes on around 9:00 or 9:30. Tickets are $15/person and $25/couple and will be on sale at Elderton Area

Thanks to the Class of '89 for letting us be a part of your celebration. It was great to see everyone reconnecting
and catching up on old times. We hope that our music was a fitting backdrop for your time together & that we'll
get to see some of you back in Luckenbach Penna again! Special thanks to Jen Frumkin for recommending us and to Bob for keeping the band

AUGUST 8th-- Private Event - Wedding Reception in Elderton, PA.
On behalf of Highway West I'd like to thank both of the families for allowing us to be involved with such a beautiful event.
Nothing about the event was anything less than top notch. A special thanks to Terry Sabo
for sharing his wonderful talent with the crowd & for the encouragement he gave us by sticking around and listening to us. It was wonderful to

OCT. 3rd -- HIGHWAY WEST playing the ELDERTON FALL FESTIVAL.
Live on stage from 6PM - 9PM * (* new time - we were originally scheduled from 7PM - 10PM).
The Festival is held at the Elderton Fire Hall. A few of us played here before & it's a really nice event so bring the whole family for a
night out! Plus, you get to hear us play! Bonus for you!!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the Festival. We had a really nice time with all of you
at the Fall Festival & we learned a thing or two about Apple Butter as well! A special thanks to the folks
at the Elderton Volunteer Fire Co. who helped us with everything we needed at the show.

OCT. 10th -- HIGHWAY WEST will be playing in the IUP HOMECOMING PARADE!!!
Drummer Doug finally gets his wish to play the parade & he's bringin' his buddies along for the ride.
Literally "along for the ride!" We'll be on our own float in the parade playing the tunes you know and love.
C'mon out, sing and dance along, and support your HIGHWAY WEST!!!

at 13th and Philadelphia St. From there, the parade will travel east to Sixth and Philadelphia streets, south on Sixth Street to Church Street,
west on Church Street to Oakland Avenue, and southwest on Oakland Avenue to Eleventh Street, where the parade will end.
COME SEE HIGHWAY WEST ON THE ROAD!! (or at least on a bunch of streets)
The parade was a different type of show to say the least. As our lead guitar player Martin put it, "that was a memorable experience we
won't soon forget." It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces along the parade route smiling, clapping, and singing along. We've
certainly never done anything like that before & we may never be able to do it again, so we greatly appreciate the opportunity.
Special thanks to the folks at IUP who allowed us to be a part of this event, to
States Rental for providing us with portable power to make the show possible, and to
Mohney's Towing for offering the services of their trailers. But the biggest "THANK YOU" goes to
Tom Brunner & his family who were willing to help us out at the last
minute, provide us with a full rig and trailer, help us with the set up of the float, and pull us through the entire parade. You guys were
WONDERFUL & we can't say how much we appreciated your help!

UPDATE -- Since we played Milton Loop, the Thompson family has bought a NEW campground with even more accomodations and more
fun. They treated us so well, we'd like to return the favor. So go visit them at their new location, the
Silver Canoe Campground. Good times are sure to be had by all.

Thanks to all who came out to the Hog Roast this year. Once again, I have to thank you all for your massive support & high spirits -
joking, laughing, and singing along. As always, a big thanks to LARRY & the Varners for making the event possible in the first place, and

SEPT. 27th -- HIGHWAY WEST playing a Wedding Reception at
Luckenbach, Penna.
I want to thank everyone who only came to the wedding in order to see us play (hehehehe). It was really nice to play for so many people
who just wanted to enjoy a wonderful conclusion to a blessed day. A HUGE congratulations to the happy (and loving) couple Alex and Elise.
Their demeanor & fun-loving attitude set the tone for a laid back & very enjoyable day. Hopefully we'll be invited to play their anniverary
parties for years to come....
NOV. 22nd -- HIGHWAY WEST playing a private party.
While you can't attend without an invitation, just be happy that we're working!
OK, so the "Private Pary" was really a surprise birthday party for our bass player. He was duly surprised and embarrassed, so
everyone's plans were a success! It was great to be surrounded by friends & to be asked to take part in this tribute to our "father figure"
Drew.
For what it's worth, all of us in the band feel richer for knowing him & getting to spend time with him. Let's hope we get to
play his 95th birthday party together as well!
